Quicker Then a Speeding Bullet

Have you ever felt like that someone just pressed the acceleration button to your life? & as you try to press the break pedal to slow it down, the quicker everything seems to get?

As soon as you try to take a deep breath, you start to realize the world you live in won’t ever stop for you, and that no matter how hard you try, you might never keep up with it. A day seems to only last a second, a week only a day, and a month only a week. The memories you made becomes faded and a blur within your mind, making you question if they even happened or why you didn’t take the time to enjoy those moments that are forever gone. 

In a blink of a eye, each moment of your life changes and things are instantaneously thrown in your life that are unexpected. The pressure to adapt to these changes causes us to sometime lose our rationality and sometimes, even has the ability to make us lose ourselves. And as we have those moments where we look back at all we have done and accomplished, we don’t even understand half the decisions that we had made because they were rushed. Sometime though, we find ourselves to be lucky, and have made all the right choices in this rapid roller coaster called life.

As life becomes even faster and faster with infinite speed and no signs of slowing down, we begin to learn that time is the one thing we have no control over, but rather it is the one that has immense control over us without even a struggle. Maybe we have to just accept that, and even though we can’t make life slow down, all we have to do is look around and see that there are other people chasing after their own lives as well. & maybe all you have to do is find the people who are willing to walk at the same speed as you do as you all watch the world pass you by together.

It’s crazy how fast life can go and pass you by. They say that there it is rare to find anything quicker then a speeding bullet, but I have to disagree; All you have to do is look around the world you live in, and see how life has the bullet beat easily.

Right Now. 

Where are you at this very moment as your eyes passes gazes by each word of this sentence? Right now, can you think about those people who are the reasons for your smiles, laughter, and tears? Or what are the biggest problems in your life or what crazy thoughts and ideas that take space within that mind of yours? What are you passionate about and what scares you the most? Who are you in love with and who do you hate? Where do you want to visit and where do you see yourself in the future? Who are you, right now? 

Isn’t it odd how some, if not all, of these answers will be different when you answer it in the future when right now just because a fading memory, if not a forgotten one. We will have to say goodbye to people and welcome in new ones. We will experience the unexpected and change because of these events. And who we right now will just be a stranger to who will become. So for all those happy moments you have, cherish them because even if you’ll be happy again, chances are it won’t be with the same people or at the same place. And for all those sad moments you have, trust that things will get better. That as seasons change and life moves forward, something will make you happy again. And right now, just think how crazy it is that we still have so much a head of us. That even though we have already been through so much, that there are still more things to come, good or bad.

Have you ever just stopped to watch the world pass you by? 

As you stand still in silence, you will observe a world accustomed to believing that time is too precious to waste, as people rush towards towards their destinations. 

And this moment when you bear witness to this world you have always been apart of , you may see people going to work or finally coming home. 

You might see someone that’s running late, or maybe they’re running towards dreams and ambitions, or maybe they’re running scared away from their fears and failures.

There might be people you see that could be lost, trying to find their way, or maybe even trying their selves. 

Some of them are good people struggling with evil, while others are evil in a struggle with themselves.

As you continue to look around you, there will be smiles masking a tortured soul and monsters that lives deep within; And there will be people who are frustrated, and who are unsatisfied…barely getting by. 

For everyone you see who is in love, you will find another feeling like their living a lie, and some people are courageous for their willingness to face another day. Everyone that passes by have their problems, still living life. 

And the moment you stop watching this world go by you, just be aware that there are over 6 billion more souls wandering this Earth that you haven’t seen. There’s always a moment in our lives where we feel all alone and need a little help sometimes. This is the time where you should think back to this moment where you just watched the world pass you by, because then you will realize how many people are going through the same battle you’re going through; That you’re not alone and maybe someone or something will find you and will make it all okay.

As the hand of an old grandfathers clock ticks representing a singular moment passing that goes unnoticed by many, millions billions trillions of things are occurring all over this place we call Earth. 

In that one second, there are people falling in love, and others falling out of it. There are people whose hopes and dreams are coming true, and others who are losing faith in all of it due to the hardships they battle. Some people  are smiling while there are some crying and there are people at war with others or themselves. Some people are near death while others are awaiting the miracle of life. People are dancing, eating, sleeping, talking, running, killing, saving, thinking, reading, flying, driving and everything else in between. In the singularity of a second, people are living their lives. 

It’s funny isn’t it, how we essentially find the essence of time to be too short, when in just second more things are occurring in the world then we can imagine. Maybe we don’t take advantage of our times, maybe we complain too much to realize how much opportunities we have in just one second, one minute, one day, one week, one month, or maybe one year. 

So when your living your life, don’t take it for granted, because each moment has the ability to define you. Each moment is important.
